CS2: Smokes Guide - Overpass smokes to know
Overpass is one of the maps that requires some coordination and execution between teammates as it is one of most with the shortest rotation time for the CTs. Teams sometimes need to rely on smokes to block off rotators and make sure that they can take the site without being overwhelmed by the CTs. The map got a slight visual upgrade in CS2 which have actually altered the previously existing lineups a little bit.
I would be taking a couple of the smokes that you can learn for Overpass. Keep in mind that there are numerous lineups for a specific spot in this map and I will only be listing down the smokes that will be much easier to pull off than the others.
Other Maps:

Overpass A Site Smokes
Bank Smoke
There are numerous places from where you can smoke bank off, there are variations where either the smoke lands deep inside bank or outside but landing outside it allows the CTs to walk up to the van and might hide there until the smoke dissipates. I will show a couple of lineups for both bank and the dumpster/bin/stairs whatever you may refer to the position as. You can smoke both of these locations from a single location as well. Here are the different lineups:
Smoke Bank From Mid
In order to smoke bank from mid, stand by the side of the bench and aim at the gap in the umbrella as shown below and jump throw the smoke.

Smoke Bank From Long A
For the bank smoke from A Long, stand by this tree which is pretty much the last tree before the lamps start by the boost spot. Aim at the left side of the umbrella and move the cursor a little bit to the left as shown and jump throw the smoke.

Difficulty: 2/5
Smoke Bank From Outside Toilet
This bank smoke lands outside bank which covers the bank and van however, keep in mind that they can still hide in bank so I would advise not pushing this smoke. In order to throw this smoke, stand by the left side of the divider wall and aim at the bottom part of the arrow as shown and jump throw the smoke.

Dumpster Smoke
If you want to do the old dumpster smoke which was from the top of the bench behind divider wall then you can still do that. First up, jump to the middle of the bench and aim at the center of the small indented part of the street light and simply throw the smoke.

Smoke Dumpster From Mid
For the dumpster smoke you just stand by the same bench as for the bank smoke but aim at the center of the right vent as shown and jump throw the smoke.

Smoke Dumpster From A Long
From long, stand by the same tree and aim at the first letter of the middle umbrella as shown and jump throw the smoke.

Dice Smoke
This can be used to smoke off the right side of the dice box (default plant site). However, keep in mind that it can be inconsistent with the volumetric and may leave a gap sometimes on the left side of the smoke but it varies on how you throw it.
In order to throw the smoke, stand besides the wall outside the toilet area as shown and aim at the top left part of the lamp cover as shown and simply left click throw the smoke.

Difficulty: 3/5
You can also throw this smoke by aiming at the end of the pole connecting the lamp however I noticed a slight gap as the smoke was dissipating.

Optimus/Truck Smoke
The optimus/truck smoke (whatever callout you prefer) can be combined with the dice smoke in order to smoke off the site with the only area to check would be your close corners and anyone coming around the dice box.
In order to throw this smoke, stand besides the edge of wall outside toilet behind bench. Aim at the bottom center of the indented part of the lamp and simply left click throw the smoke.

Overpass B Site Smokes
Heaven Smoke
There’s numerous heaven smokes that you can throw from multiple places. I will be listing down some of the easier smokes to throw, you can easily find multiple different lineups as well.
The first lineup is the classic heaven smoke from short where you run up to the wooden board and stand beside it; however, they have changed the lineup as they have visually updated the map. Now you need to aim at the end of that white resistor and move down till you reach the wire and simply throw the smoke.

Another variation is from connector, stand beside the door frame and aim at the top of the pole as shown and simply throw the smoke. Just make sure that you are not too much to the right and that your teammates are covering you.

Connector Door Smoke
This is a rare situational smoke that may help if you’re going for a quick B split or rushing short. This will make sure that you don’t get shot from connector when going up short. Stand by the bins near T spawn as shown, aim at the middle of the vertical bar between the other horizontal bars as shown and jump throw the smoke. This should block off the vision of anyone in connector.

B Site Smoke
This is another situational smoke that you can do, this smokes off the middle of the bombsite and can help you when crossing towards the site to plant so you don’t get picked off from heaven. It can work for a B rush as well as you would only have to deal with the players on the bombsite and not in heaven.
To throw this smoke, stand in the middle of this pillar as shown below and aim at the center of the block and jump throw the smoke.

Monster Smoke From CT Spawn
This is a helpful smoke for CTs as you can smoke off monster at the start of the round and is used by many people. There are a few different variations for this as well as the map has been updated a few times recently.
In order to throw this smoke, stand beside the dumpster as shown and aim at the end of the pole as shown and jump throw the smoke. This smoke will land outside the monster tunnel and the volumetric effect will help covering off the tunnel as well.
