Valorant: Ranked Act And Night Market Dates

Valorant is one of the few games that follows a well scheduled season for its battle pass and content updates, making sure that there are no delays and that each season starts right after the previous one. The seasons are basically known as Episodes which are further broken up into Acts. Each Act comes up with a new battle pass, new content and is basically considered a competitive season.

An episode usually contains 3 acts and runs for around 6 months, an act is somewhere between 2-3 months. There are usually 2 episodes per year, one starting in January and the other in June; the dates vary depending on how long it runs for.

Update: Starting from 2025, Riot has replaced the Episodes with Seasons which lasts the whole year and is broken down into multiple acts.

Season 2025 Duration

Starting from 2025, Riot started using the term Seasons instead of Episodes, the first “Season” will start once Episode 9 ends on the 8th of January,2025. Season 2025 will last the whole year and is broken down into 6 acts.

There is no confirmation when the rank reset will happen and the only information that Riot has provided that it will occur during the middle of the season. After each act there is only a soft rank reset and you only need to win a few games to get your rank again.

Season 2025 Act 4 End Date

The current act (Season 2025 Act 4) started on the 25th of June, 2025. This act ends on the 20th of August, 2025, after which the next act should start after a brief downtime or so as the new season will consist of 6 acts.

Keep in mind that the new season rolls out gradually on each server so the countdown may not be exact and the date may vary depending on the time zone.

Night Market Duration

The night market is a limited time store that shows up periodically for a few weeks near the end of each Act ever since it’s release in Episode 1 Act 3. It contains 6 random weapon skins at a discounted rate (from 10% to 49%). At least 2 of the 6 offers either contain a knife skin or a premium edition skin.

The Night Market for Season 2025 Act 4 started on the 10th of July, 2025 and ends on the 24th of July, 2025.
