Copenhagen Major Pick’em Challenge - Elimination Stage Predictions

Note: You can find the predictions for the CS2 major playoffs here.

We are into the second stage of the first CS2 major and we are down to the top 16 teams that will be battling it out in another swiss stage format in hopes of making it to the playoffs.

As mentioned in the previous article about the opening stage, the format for the pick’em challenge has changed this time and you need to guess the correct score if a team will go 3-0 or 3-1 / 3-2.

Just like the opening stage of the Copenhagen Major, the elimination stage can also be a hard pick’em challenge as most top teams will be facing each other, which can make it difficult to predict them in qualifying as 3-0 or with a loss or two in hand.

A good example of this will be the top seeds Faze and Team Spirit facing Heroic and Cloud9 respectively in a best-of-one to start this stage.

Copenhagen Major - Elimination Stage Predictions

There are a lot of top teams in this stage and not all of them can make it through to the top 8. It is expected to see some of the fan favorite teams and top ranked teams not qualify for the playoff stage as they will have to face each other a couple of times.

You can take a look at my own predictions and some alternative picks as well below:

This can be a pretty tough one to call as there are so many top teams that will be facing each other and considering the format of this stage. We are bound to see some fan favorites not make it to the playoffs in the arena. You can take a look at some of the other teams that you can choose instead of the ones above.
